Cello Headstock in Strawberry

Cello Headstock in Strawberry

I painted the scroll and tuning pegs of a cello because this quiet corner holds so much history and touch. Strawberry tones soften the structure and bring warmth to the wood.

I painted this after a watercolor workshop with my mentor Carol Carter, and I pushed the size and color farther than I usually do. I kept the original in a drawer for a long time, then decided it deserved to live as prints.

I drew this by hand and painted it in watercolor. The original is not available. This listing is for a fine art print. Prints ship unframed.

A thoughtful gift for cellists, music educators, or anyone who appreciates overlooked details.

Part of my music series, celebrating the forms and textures that give each instrument its voice.
