Portraits Project: Portraits of Musicians by Jamie Hansen

Join Jamie Hansen and the Anderson Arts Center for an opening in the Atrium Gallery on September 10 at 6:30 pm.
Enjoy live music and large scale watercolor paintings. The series of watercolor portraits document musicians’ experiences during COVID and lockdown.
Portraits include musicians across a wide variety of disciplines and regions. Jamie notes: “I aim to capture a musician’s likeness, and also how their music makes me feel. I’m deeply satisfied that my portrait series has helped me feel connected to the other artists even though so much of 2020 was spent in isolation.”
Come celebrate the arts in the Atrium Gallery at the Anderson Arts Center.
